Reactor BR3

Belgian Reactor 3 or BR3, which was a prototype pressurised water reactor, was operational between 1962 and 1987. It was Western Europe’s first reactor of this type and it was also the first to be decommissioned.

Discover all about the BR3 reactor in the section 'Research infrastructure'.
